Our November club meeting was proven to be very productive with 27 people in attendance. We continue to move forward with preparation for our rapidly approaching snowmobile season.

It’s official … The Savoy Kanary Kats are the first club to host a Vintage Ride. Get ready to tune up those old sleds on January 26th. Come to our December 28th club meeting to discuss more details.

A big thanks to Jim LaFrance, because of his hard work we were approved for a grant which allows us to purchase a new RTV 1100 Kabota.

Trail trims have come to an end. Great job everyone…our trails are all set and ready to go.

We did not meet our goal in ticket sales for our Raffle: sled therefore the drawing will be on January 12th. A 2008 Ski-Doo MXZ 550 Fan sled could be yours. To buy or sell tickets call President: Dwane Rougeau at 743-4099 or tickets available at PLT, Oasis Liquor Store, or Savoy Store.

Another important part of making our trails safe and fun is the maintenance of our equipment. Anyone interested in helping- Groomer Maintenance meetings every Thursday at 6:00pm at Butch’s garage - 112 Chapel Road, Savoy. Any questions please call Equipment Manager: Don Pause at 743-5349. We are also looking to purchase a 10,000 lb winch for the club, if anyone knows of one please call Don Pause.

The SAM club is always looking for pictures to put in their paper if you have any pictures you want to submit please e-mail them to Michelle V. at savoykanarykats@aol.com.
