Our December club meeting had another great turn out as we continue to discuss and finalize details for the season. We have some really great rides we planned …now all we need is snow!!!!.

Join us for our 1st Annual Vintage Ride on January 26th. Sign-up at the Savoy Town Park between 9:00am and 10:00am. Trail maps and further instructions available when you sign-up. Join us at the finish for food and drinks.

Raffle: Sled - 2008 Ski-Doo MXZ 550 Fan sled. Drawing will be held on January 12th at the Hilltop including a pot luck dinner starting at 4:00pm. Drawing will be at 6:00pm. Bring your favorite dish and join us…you could be the lucky winner!

Environmental Police are out in full force so be sure to have your trail passes and registrations. It is suggested to secure your trail pass stickers on your sled with tape to avoid losing it. Trail passes are available at the Savoy Store, PLT, Ronnie’s Cycle and the Dalton General Store.

Another important part of making our trails safe and fun is the maintenance of our equipment. Anyone interested in helping- Groomer Maintenance meetings every Thursday at 6:00pm at Butch’s garage - 112 Chapel Road, Savoy. Any questions please call Equipment Manager: Don Pause at 743-5349.

The SAM club is always looking for pictures to put in their paper if you have any pictures you want to submit please e-mail them to Michelle V. at savoykanarykats@aol.com.
